Willow Creek is a master planned community consisting of 189 acres. The design was a cooperative effort of the developer, the city, the neighborhood, the engineering firm and the site designer. Extensive community involvement and market studies were conducted to arrive at the multigenerational community focusing on large lots, extensive green space and significant common area amenities.
Willow Creek will consist of 491 units, with a balance of single family homes, bayhomes, townhomes and luxury apartment homes.
It is expected that Willow Creek will take 20-25 years. It is being carefully constructed in several phases so that the construction activities are segregated. Once a phase is complete, the construction work will move on to the next phase.
Phase One includes 36 acres. There are 17 acres of park area, 35 single family home sites and 15 Bayhomes.
A Bayhome is a single family home in a condominium environment. This means there is a Condo Association for snow removal, lawn care, exterior maintence (roof & siding), and homeowners insurance.
The open space/park areas will have walking trails, waterfalls, fountains, gazebos, athletic fields, playground equipment and more.
Everyone living in Willow Creek will be a member of the Willow Creek Homeowner’s Association. The dues for 2009 will be $380/year for single family homes and $200/year for Bayhomes. The HOA will be responsible for operations, maintenance, real estate taxes and insurance for the common areas.
